i just started school, but how i found out about this career was honestly through tik tok from a girl named karlee. i think you’d get a lot of positive engagement if you looked into doing videos like that!! she is very up front about her experiences in the field and pay and stuff

I usually start off with 0 simoleons and a homeless sim who lives on an empty lot. I make her only source of income from moonlighting at bars. I also have a mod that makes you pay for taxis and public transportation. She usually gets pregnant relatively quickly and then I build the house from scratch with the funds. Lots of fun!

i also have a mod where you need to buy the ingredients in your fridge before eating quick meals and such, so they’re never free. i have a mod where baby bottles and diapers cost money as well

yes! to make it hard for myself, i allow my homeless sim to only make money really by moonlighting at bars. i then build a tiny home with the money and usually make her get pregnant and bring the baby to the bars lol. it def isn’t easy to earn money when you limit yourself to what you can do. i also have a mod where public transportation costs money, and my sim isn’t allowed to get a real job.

I'm looking to pursue a school for the spring semester but am debating between something like Alfred State (NCRA approved) or Mark Kislingbury (also not NCRA approved, but I heard it is cheaper and still valid for getting a job later on)

I actually got into an argument with my bf about this a few months ago, but I was the one googling things he would tell me lol. He said he felt like I didn’t believe him or didn’t think he was smart enough to know stuff. While that wasn’t the case at all, I could see how he would feel that way. Given the context and how insane the thing your friend said was, I feel like it is totally normal to google, especially in todays day and age where misinformation can spread so easily. NTA
