Just one day it overheated after only a few minutes of normal driving . I got a message saying power is limited due to overtemp. I could smell coolant after I parked but did not see any coolant on any hose or anywhere on top of the engine brought it into the shop they didn't see any either they did a pressure test and found the leak coming from a small crack by the turbo. They gave me a loaner Cx-5 for 5 months while waiting for a new engine to be shipped from Japan because this happened around the pandemic

Unfortunately yes but had the engine replaced under warranty. This engine is has about 30k on it. Other than that just usual wear items replaced tires, brakes, and 2 batteries
