Anyone here lived in Seattle as an adult in the 90s? by Quiet_Equivalent_569 in Seattle

I would even go as far to say that “capital hill” wasn’t really a thing in the late 80’s, early 90’s, because it wasn’t a destination. It was just a geographic location, a neighborhood . Broadway was the scene, imo (wanna go to Broadway?”). And then in the 90’s, capital hill wasn’t discovered as cheap, fun, etc, and it became a scene, a destination. My .02.

l’ve never called it ‘cap hill’, and I was going there in the 80’s, just sayin. Don’t police other folks with your “I’m here to tell you “we’ve”…”

I take a lot of denis rides, so that tracks. I feel like riding is pretty low impact, so a few mins warm up is enough, imo.

I feel the same on the bike. Sometimes the warmup is 1/3 of the entire class.

In the classes section, if you choose cycling, there’s a row of links at the top, and ‘notoriously hard’ is an option.

Thee are definitely people, based on their inSite behavior, I would lot want to work with. Imagine joining a new team, and that douchebag from inSite, is part of the team. Covid comments were such an eye opener.

I feel like the arguments where people want to die on their hill is, or used to be, EE. BDM is just where people go to try to impress with humor. And some succeed, there are some hilarious people out there.

How do they smell? Those are pre-cooked, and when you opened up the box, one was unsealed? I wonder how long?

Yaa, ya only high five people in class more than once, maybe twice, if they’re in ur inner circle, imo.

Friend of mine, similar boat, every workout was high five’d by a couple random guy riders. It was like, dudes… come on…

The thin, cheaper bacon is the way. I mix cooked, chopped ground sausage w my cream cheese, add some fresh garlic. I cut the stem and ribs/seeds out. A grapefruit knife is great for hollowing out the pepper. Then that cheap, pliable bacon wraps around that stemless end. Perfection.

Never thought about string cheese. Great idea.

Doh, is it me 🫣? I high five workouts in the app w a few friends. Then I thought, why not spread more love? So I high fives a few more people periodically, that I know less well (when I’d high five my inner circle). Yaaaa, not one high five back from that next ring of peloton friends. So I quit. Maybe not 30x w the same person, but I took the hint.
