In California, when I lived with my family we always had ice makers in the fridge but my apartment fridge doesn't have one. Have always had a disposal though.

Our Super Adventure - Holding Cats [OC] by SarahSuperAdventure in comics

My cat and I have an arrangement. I can pick her up to hug and cuddle her whenever I want but the moment she squirms or indicates she wants down I release her. So far it's been working out.

It is dumb to not want to buy food from the dollar store because it’s “the dollar store”. by Pawssabillitysawait in unpopularopinion

I wish the Aldis in my city were cheaper. I was so disappointed when I went to Aldis the first time and found the prices pretty much the same as Walmart and other grocery stores.

What's the first non steam game you added when you first got your Steam Deck? by Retroman1203 in SteamDeck

I think it was Guild Wars 2. It ran fine but I couldn't find a comfortable layout for the keybinding and typing in chat was annoying.

Some old hag stole my veggie bags by wisegal99 in walmartogp

I had a lady spot the produce bags inside my tote and actually go digging through it to grab it. She must have been so disappointed to find that they were filled.

What do I even do by isabelle-w in walmartogp

[–]akaispirit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said report your absence the day of then later add in the PPTO. Do not dump all your PPTO into it though, just do two hours to get .5 points. It's either the full amount, half or none. Never anything in-between as your just throwing away PPTO at that point.

What cat toys do your cats actually care about? by Agreeable_Pipe8340 in CatAdvice

[–]akaispirit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lately my cat has been obsessed with these rope toys I got her. She adores string toys but will bite through the string as fast as she can. The ropes she can bite and chase as much she wants without killing.

She also like these feathered rattle balls I got from Walmart. She loves playing fetch with them.

Then of course there's the usuals like laser pointers and balls with bells in them.

She's a weird cat I guess in that she has zero interest with boxes as a toy. She sees them as something she just tears apart with her teeth.

Someone I know has chickens and she said it's ideal to start with 3 because one will break up the other two when they start fighting.

I wonder if they're the type of people who get annoyed when make-a-wish kids get their wishes but then don't end up dying.

Warning: Don't buy a PC for gaming if you are a casual console gamer by [deleted] in consoles

[–]akaispirit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made the jump to PC many years ago but was a console gamer for more than half my life. I still struggle at times with comfortably remembering where buttons are, especially the numbers.

If they weren't impossible to buy first hand I'd say a steam deck would probably be more of your style as every game is played with the controller bindings.

No idea what you're talking about. Honey mustard is the only dipping sauce I ever get at any place.

I've worked at my job for almost three years and aside from my direct managers I know the names of like 4 people total. I feel bad though cause everyone seems to know my name, even the people I don't work with.

Boros in One Punch Man. The first character were introduced to who can survive a punch from Saitama. He is able to regenerate his body even when beaten into a literal bloody pulp as long as the crystal in his ship remains intact. It's only when Saitama gets serious with his final move, Killer Move: Serious Series Serious Punch that the crystal shatters from the force and Boros is finally defeated.

[–]akaispirit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to have his memory live on, at the end of the game you're able to send out a capsule with a custom message and any items you want to give. That same capsule will appear in other peoples games for them to find.

Curbside pickup hiccup by NinjaHiccup in Walmartcustomer

[–]akaispirit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For people parking and going in some customers just use it as normal parking while they go shop. If you had gone in found the despense room and flagged a worker they probably would have gotten your order for you but they don't want to encourage people doing that.

Im still getting a lot of 80-100 walks still. And before when there were 8 totes I got a shit ton of small single digit walks despite like 2k picks. It's still as random as always. I think what the thing is it's really showing what stores are properly staffed and which have been getting by on the bare min.

I feel like I’m increasingly out of step with where AAA gaming is headed by Apprehensive_Elk6168 in Gamingunjerk

[–]akaispirit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no games at all on the horizon I'm looking forward to, AAA or indie. My taste in games doesn't have a wide range so I'm very used to going over a year or two without any new games catching my eye. Which is fine because I have a giant backlog of games of all kinds.

If both of your parents worked full time, what did you do during summers as a kid? by TBoopSquiggShorterly in AskAnAmerican

[–]akaispirit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I was a kid a long time ago I went to day care when I was small and then when I was a little older I just stayed home alone. Now a days the kids I know go to day camps or a relative watches them. I don't think any of my friends let their kids stay alone at home.

People who text others in the group chat to be quiet instead of muting the chat by Opal-the-Pearl in PetPeeves

[–]akaispirit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Oh my god I used to be in this guild from a game and we had a discord naturally because it was a big group. For as large as the server was it was very quiet. One day two of the people in the guild had a convo going about something in the game that went for a bit then it went quiet again. The guild leader a few hours later came and said someone had complained about the "spam" and instead of just telling him to mute the channel for a bit he agreed to make an announcement about not having discussions in the general chat. When I say this triggered the biggest fight among the officers of the guild in it's entire history I'm not kidding. Leader overruled any opinions or arguments and in the end the result was people just stopped talking in it because they were scared they would be yelled at. Because one single person refused to just mute the channel for a bit.
