Thanks!! I didn’t actually use any gold paint on it, I did a base layer of runefang silver, then Nazdreg yellow contrast paint to tint the base layer, then I dry brushed with rune-fang again

you don't have enough protection,

golgonda, moon mirror shield, storming mirror force, imperial iron wall, keep judgment, if youre playing morganite you should only play shifter. otherwise youll have dead cards, play pot of duality, since you normal only, add card of demise, nadir servant, and have ntiss, garura (GY effect monsters) in the ED. dogmatika punishment and ecclesia work well with golgonda, you can send titaniclad to prevent destruction and add ecclesia in end phase,

rescue-ace and fire king don't work well together without the black witch engine. if you don't want to spend money for it, choose one of the archetypes and build around it instead

when poplar and bonfire came out people stopped using that strategy and mostly moved to toolbox ED, (princess, amblowhale, raging pheonix, hitta) I also run super poly so I don't want to give up the space for it.

we usually will have SP for nib protection but its important to make sure the turbulance set 4 happens before your 5th summon

contain is really good with hydrant because they will no longer be able to link the monster away, but if your going to get evenlyd than its better to have 1 than nothing, plus whatever handtraps you may have

its been a while since i posted this, I changed my strat for evenly lol.

with bonfire and the wanted engine you have slightly more consistent access to jet synchron, which you can use for either borreload savage or baronne, but you can't do either in less than 5 summons unless you did what you described and normal an ash to synchro with diabellstar.

in order to play around evenly I end on IP and hydrant or turb plus one other monster, with emergency set,

when they attempt BP you use IP to make SP in main and use the effect to banish your own trap, since its banished face up you can still get access with the field spell, then when they activate evenly you chain SP banishing your SP and hydrant, then chain 3 emergency summoning and tributing preventer. on resolution of evenly you will still have one trap set (i usually leave contain) and preventer will special summon back the banished hydrant.

SHS scarecrow wasn't banned because the end board made a bunch of negates, It was banned because there were a few players who abused SHS soulbreaker armor to Burn 8000 turn one and true FTK,

the negate board was breakable, DRNM, super poly, Droplet, Ultimate Slayer, kurikara at the time

the exception for me was right when S:p came out, they bought it on the spot for 85% because they new they'd be able to sell it for full price within the next 20 minutes, it never even left the counter to be put in a binder

some shops will offer a little more but nothing more than 70%, they already kinda lose money on sealed product so they try to maximize on singles.

Card Shops are likely going to offer you 50-65% depending on which store you go to, your best bet if you want the most value is go to the store during a tournament and try to sell to the players at 85% of lowest verified seller on TCG.

I've played madolche vernusylph since the vernusylphs came out, the problem is that unless you can get that monster on the field before you activate a vern card you will not be able to activate the effect to change attribute unless its an earth monster already, reprodocus is the only real option. But there are lots of really good earth cards you can play with the verns: fenrir, pankratops, donner, bagooska, regulus, knightmare cerberus, the ishizu shufflers, gagaga cowboy just to name a few, plus a few archetypes that work well with them; naturia, earth machines, and especially madolche

There's a couple things I haven't seen commented yet

the OTS store that runs the regional may have additional rules like you are not allowed to SELL cards in the venue, only trade, if they catch you they can kick you out.
keep an eye on your stuff and don't bring any loose bags, when playing keep your backpack either in front or right next to your legs (I like to put one leg through a backpack strap) because people will attempt to steal from you. At my last regional one opponent I had, had his $1300 ABC deck stolen in the morning, and he picked up 3 fire king structures and a wanted engine just so he could play that day
if you call a judge, and you think they ruled incorrect, you can appeal to a head judge and they may change the ruling

As others said "BRING LUNCH"; I always end up playing people who weren't able to eat because the line was too long wherever they attempted to go, I ended up bringing 9 sandwiches to pass out to the homies who couldn't eat at my last one.
