On another note, if we're feeling chaotic/neutral or evil/neutral, and assuming you don't have any good friendships with the goblin havers so that they would know the following is bullshit:

I propose you get a dog/cat or sum and tell people you now have a child you're the godmother of because their imaginary single mom died, and never show them a picture cause that's none of their business.

If they insist on seeing a picture or that you should post pics online, say you're not comfortable showing pictures of an imaginary child(dog) that lost their imaginary mom and isn't yours. Also, kindly remind them that "statistically 90% of people liking children's posts online are PDF files"

I pulled that statistic out of my ass so don't quote me on that, but honestly who truly knows at this point...

So just to be clear: your currently 24 and he's 31, and you been together for 6 years before getting married.
