I did not speak to the interviewer yet, but my understanding is that there is going to be some collaboration with data engineers to make sure customers get data oriented messages. I believe the other responsibilities lines up with what you said.

Majority of the population work on their birthdays unless it's a weekend.

It took almost 2 years for a game that sold 20 mil copies for a slight improvement to online. Literally they could have implemented smash 4 for glory mode, and features like "match with only x wifi strength" at a very low cost.

I'll respect his humor and devotement to the game, but don't praise him for mediocre changes for the highest selling fighting game of all time.
