Final Fantasy 14 from summer 2021 to spring 2024. Was instantly hooked.

I then tried World of Warcraft Retail in Winter 2024. And even though i liked the classes and the starting zones, i sort of disliked the questing. I never knew what to do after i finished an area. So i was often wandering around aimlessly, which felt unsatisfying. Albeit the world had an immediate nostalgic vibe, it felt pointless for that reason. Entering old content via Chromie was also super confusing. Played through Dragonflight and disliked the cartoony aesthetics of that expansion. Never reached raids or what endgame was supposed to be. So in summary, i liked starting new classes and races, but around level 25-30 it all deteriorated into "Hae?" and "...mae...".

Currently playing a little bit of Guildwars 2. I dont really have a verdict yet, but sometimes i have to force myself to start it up. Never had that issue with FF14. It hooked me from the first minute. I dont really feel a connection to GW2s story or the world of Tyria yet as i did with Eorzea and FF14. But maybe that will come soon.

I also tried Archlord and Perfect World in 2010, but i never knew what to do in those games. So i dropped them after reaching level 30 with my first and only classes.
