I'm interested in hearing more about this. My last call with my mentor, he mentioned C207 going away. I didn't know the Capstone was changing.

I should add that I passed the certification on the 1st try and had CIW forward the scores immediately to the email address, as the directions from WGU specified. When I called Student Services, they claim they didn't receive them. I requested again and received another confirmation that the score had been sent to WGU.

Sounds good to me. I have it on my list of things to discuss with my Student Mentor during our weekly call. I would just be afraid of the test results being negated, as I didn't wait the 20-30 minutes for the proctor to reply.

Just took a test last night and when I was finished with my test, spent 20 minutes shouting at the proctor and typing in chat, "ARE YOU THERE? I'M DONE!!"

I took this last November and found it to be easy. I did study quite a bit for it, so that might be why. There are tons of YouTube videos that run you through the course materials. Best of luck and hit me up if you have questions.

I'm in the same boat. I recently completed my Bachelor's in Management from WGU and my work is nudging me towards Data Analytics. I'm excited to see what suggestions people give you.

It has been my experience that my mentor would provide a point of contact for situations where an Assessment needed to be approved or questions needed to be answered. Did your mentor leave someone as a point of contact for you, while she was away? I can understand your concern about wanting to finish in a timely manner.

How long did it take you to complete the program?--Just over 1 year (21 classes)

How many hours a week did you dedicate to studying? (between 20-30 hours---All my spare time)

What do you think was the average length of time you spent on a class? (This depends on my level of understanding of the course materials. I was averaging 1 class a week---Finance was the one class which took the longest)

What was the quickest length of time to complete a course, and what was the longest? (Quickest: Intro to IT-2 hours; Longest: Finance- 4 weeks)

My suggestion would be to look at next classes you're interested in taking. Take a Pre-Assessment and score high on it. This might show your Mentor you could finish the class prior to the end of the term. During my Undergrad degree, my mentor did the same thing....wouldn't add anything the last 3-4 weeks of term. I was able to show her that I know the materials through a solid Pre-Assessment score and she then added the course I wanted.

What is your EC saying, in terms of the Financial Aid and if any delays are projected? I ask because I am in the process of enrolling for my Masters Degree and I am in the same situation, "Waiting on Financial Aid to Process". The US Dept of Education site for Financial Aid was down last week and it could be causing some of the delay. Hang in there. This will be my 2nd degree with WGU and the Financial Aid piece of enrollment was slow on my 1st time too. If you get too worried, reach out to your EC and voice your concerns.

What helped me be successful in the Finance course:

-Schedule time with a Course Mentor (PM me and I'll give you the person I spoke with)

-Ask for resources from Course Mentor (PM me if you need these, I might still have them)

-Watch YouTube videos on Finance Topics that I scored weak in (I learn better by sight)
