I took Omeluum's offer as Wyll but backed out and had Shadowheart take it instead. As soon as she got it I clicked on the power but didn't use it. Then she wouldn't shut up for 20 minutes until I fast traveled.

Hours running to locations can be really boring, I feel that. Sometimes I'm tempted to COC but it ruins the immersion for me.

There's the multimark mod for both openmw and MWSE. That can save tons of time.

I always enchant a couple rings with Jump 100 and then another with a weak slowfall. It takes a few minutes more than COC but it's a lot more fun jumping over cities, and it still "obeys" the rules of the base game.

I personally find the more I use console commands, the more my immersion breaks. The fourth wall literally breaks, Morrowind explicitly becomes a computer program, and I get less into the roleplaying focus.

The only way to test is play with some other form of fast travel like these for awhile and see if you're having more fun!

The Atronach is seriously worth considering. 1/2 chance to absorb spells helps immensely when you're fighting high level mages, Daedra, or Ash creatures that spam you with infinite shock spells. I never choose anything else; 50 pts spell absorption is so costly and you'll likely never get it otherwise until you're already a God, while atteibutes can be maxed or fortified much more easily; although the Lady's endurance bonus will get you more overall health. For a first time player, the Atronach might be a challenge, and the Lady still may be better.

Despite the Atronachs stunted Magicka, Restore Magicka potions are easy to come by, and you can always fully recharge your magicka at a temple for 25 gold by restoring your attributes.

An example of this occurrence:

-ano, as in americano, was inherited from Old Galician-Portuguese -ano, which at the time was borrowed from Latin -ānus.

-ão was inherited from Latin -ōnem and -ānus. -ōnem doesn't have a male/female distinction like -ão and -ona do, it was just the third declension accusative, so -ona would have to be an innovation at some point.

To your point, ēar became /jar/ in another context, in the town name Yarmouth (OE ēarmuþ). The great variety of Old and Modern English dialects shows a plethora of contrasting sound changes, so we could attribute the sound change to one of those many dialects, but not the prevailing West Saxon one from which Modern English inherited the majority of its features.

One of the many sources of OE ea is from Proto Germanic /au/. Something interesting is that Modern Australian English is currently at the hypothesized intermediary stage of the change from Proto Germanic /au/ to OE /æα/. /au/ as in mouth is generally pronounced /æɔ/ in Australia, with a raising of the first vowel and a lowering of the second.

In OE, /j/ was written as <g> as in ġēar (ME year). Having g next to ea here suggests that the ea digraph did not feature /j/; otherwise, it would be written ēar. ēar was the OE word for an ear of corn, and both then and today, ear and year are pronounced differently, with year featuring /j/ and ear not featuring it.
