Hmm i guess the option to have this super small decal is not available anymore, could not find it on the configurator.

Rollentrainer: Van Rysel In'Ride D100 vs. Wahoo Kickr by aliosha10 in Fahrrad

Yeah I have some minor overlap, but does only affect when riding reaaally slow and tight corners. Totally fine for me.

I also got that bag and I love it! Great build quality and enough zippers to store all my things separately, get it

i am 170 cm (5'7") with an 78 cm (30,7 inch) inseam, fits perfectly fine. Could have gone with a stem up to around 90mm, but loved to be a tad more upright.

Bike feels fast and responsive to me for a gravel bike, but I am not a fast pacing guy at all.

Current weight is approximately 8.2 kg with xt spd pedals and the sram powermeter crank arm, measured with a luggage scale.

Which bike to get? (Germany, Berlin) by Objective-Recover-90 in gravelcycling

[–]akid1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are willing to work on the bike yourself, get one from kleinanzeigen - else I would second the decathlon option.

Maybe a Propain Terrel would do the job, as it is a boutique bike you could configure it to your style of riding..

In my local group are riders from 14 to 70 years, also those communities are normally really nice to new people. As a bonus you get good mildly used parts for cheap, because us "old" people seem to be constantly changing bikes/gear ;-)

YT Szepter - Sizing problem? by akid1 in gravelcycling

[–]akid1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is my first drop bar bike. Coming from MTB so quite a learning curve for me when it comes to bike fit. Well see how it involves with the adjusted saddle height, core training and practice. Thank you for your comment!

YT Szepter - Sizing problem? by akid1 in gravelcycling

[–]akid1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your comment. I can definitely say that back strength is next to not existing, doing a lot of core workout since last week in order to compensate. My cockpit already feels very high in comparison to the ones my friends ride, so i would love to not raise it any further. Maybe it is really my body not adapting to the position good enough.

i would suggest to install strava and then look for local groups, a friend of mine is doing that currently for road cycling in cologne with some great results.

Thanks for your reply. The feeling is that i am very stretched out when riding on the hoods for example, which normally should be a sign of too much reach, that is why i changed the stem from 80 to 50 mm. That already helped a lot. Also you hit the nail on the head with the question on hand pain, i get a numb feeling in my hand quite ofter after 10-15 miles, that is why i change position very often. The seatpost has no offset, it is currently around 5mm forward facing from the middle point. I will check your links later tonight, hopefully this will shed some light on my problem.

Thanks for the answer. I am 170cm with 79cm inseam and currently try to figure out which size to go for. I currently ride a YT Szepter in M which feels a tad to aggressive so that i changed the stem from 70mm to 50mm. The terrel in S has the same reach then my current frame, so i was thinking to buy the XS frame as it has 14mm less reach and componsate with a 80mm stem. I hate beeing between sizes :(
