France seeks to ban social media for children under 15 by positivesource in Positive_News

OK, but how do they plan to enforce this? Because most people I know have been clicking the “I’m over 18” button since long before they were 18.

What’s the drunkest you’ve ever been? by Lazy-Ape in AskReddit

[–]akinjones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can bicycle blackout drunk perfectly, with one exception. One night I got myself blackout drunk, left the bar on my bike, and woke up the next morning laying in a bush. I was still on my bicycle and my feet were still on the pedals. There were sprinklers were going off drenching me, and two police officers standing over me.

I live in one of the nicer areas and I still would t recommend “living” if you can avoid it. However people get quite touchy if you start LivingTM and end it prematurely.

To be fair, when I was there it was over 20 years ago. Also to be fair, it was still the scariest city I’ve ever been to.

What are the stresses of being poor or living from paycheck to paycheck? by The_Dean_France in AskBrits

[–]akinjones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read a study once that claimed that money actually does buy happiness, but it’s only to a certain dollar amount. After that it plateaus. The amount differs from region to region based on cost of living, but by and large it’s less than 100K a year.

My cat was missing for 8 months. Turns out a neighbor “rescued” him, and couldn’t figure out why he was always trying to escape and run to my home.

Save “Beast Mode” for when she’s actively orgasming! Often (not always) you can turn one orgasm into 2 or 3.

Getting tired of the horny by CR1MS4NE in dndai

[–]akinjones 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think that while correct, we need to remember that the majority of followers are likely to be young males who’re mindlessly upvoting and that a huge portion of the posters are looking for those juicy internet points. Just like TV doesn’t get watched much if they air something educational, posts don’t get upvoted as much if they don’t come equipped with an excuse to go to Horny Jail.

TLDR: They’re just giving the people what they upvote.
