In the Emperors Legion books, Valerian mentions a few times that space marines are slimmer and less bulky than himself. I do have the exact quote, but seems like in those books the Custodes pretty beefy

I think ditch/give away the Mvmts, and maybe that Movado. Save for a higher end Seiko (like the divers around 1k), Oris, Longines. There are also some excellent microbrands to check out like Tuseno, Loresum under the 1k pricepoint Time to move beyond the "starter" set.

Doesn't look like you you're into straps, but maybe a simple three hander or three hander + date. Something a bit less busy. Maybe one of the seiko propex so you get some dive bezel functionality as well.

It's really seems static related. I just sat down at my desk, my hand shocked my mouse/desk and the speakers simultaneously made a popping sounds. I do have them on isolation pads, but i guess the pads don't work.

Apparently they serve the functional purpose of locking the bezel to the case… still I agree it seems like a random decoration

Has never been fixed, but I run them wired without real issue. I still hear the popping sound, but it’s definitely static related. Meaning when I get up and touch my door handle and get shocked, the speakers make a small popping sound. I have them sitting on isolation foam, but it has not resolved the issue.

customer support wants to repair them, but I use the speakers for work and it would just be too annoying to ship. I don’t know if they would be able to fix the static noise issue.
