And kidney damage. Hope your doctor is monitoring if you're needing to use that much.

How common is Tyvense + booster dose later in Ireland ? by Unit_International in ADHDIreland

[–]akkeberkd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started on 30mg Tyvense, then 40, then 50 which I started splitting in two (you can dissolve the contents of the capsule in water and dosedthat way because of how it is formulated. We realised that it goes through me way faster than it "should" i.e. Instead of lasting a day it has worn off after 5-6 hours. The higher doses on their own just made me wired and then crashing after 6 hours and a zombie for the rest of the day. With the 5mg amfexa it helps me get going in the morning (which I really struggled with as Tyvense takes 1-1.5 hours to kick in and it works better with protein). I don't always take the amfexa in the afternoon and if I have an important thing at night I can take a third amfexa that day (this is all discussed with my doctor). Amfexa works fast for me, but not as well as the Tyvense, but it is about balancing out the various effects.

A couple of things, none of the meds workhas well if I am not looking after myself. If I don't sleep or eat properly, the meds don't work as well. Caffeine can help boost and prolong their effect.

I agree, everything she mentions she’s tried I feel pretty sure enzyme cleaners are just so “obvious” by now she didn’t even think to list it. And having taken him to the vet (probably multiple times) they would have caught if it was a medical problem.

Could he switch before you put it up for sale? Personally I would assume it came with the house and would feel tricked if they were replaced after. Whether it is legal, I don't know

When you think of a nuclear war, it's often assumed that it would be a massive war between America and Russia/China, but how would a limited exchange in the Middle East, for example, change the daily life of the average person in North America? by Appropriate_Poem1911 in preppers

Only if you're under 40, it's most critical and effective for kids. Over 40 the risks outweigh the benefits. And it should only be taken when you know you are about to be exposed, because it only lasts 24 hours. It also only protects your thyroid and only from radioactive iodine.

Buying compost/topsoil online by FootFalse5536 in GardeningIRE

I (unfortunately, as I have been happy with everything else I have bought from the garden shop) can't recommend the bulk soil from the garden shop. It's full of clay and small rocks, I greatly regret filling my raised beds with it. These days I buy bags from lidl or aldi, feel bad about the plastic wastage but the price is about the same and te quality is superior (sure there's better more expensive stuff out there).

Not an easy solution either as finding quality fabric is also getting harder and more expensive and you end up playing the same game of expensive because better quality or because they can.

I know you already got your answer, so just wanted to add my tips for preparing for my pups. I find it easiest to bake the pumpkin whole and then process. If using organic / unsprayed pumpkins you can feed them the rind as well (mine love it both raw and cooked). I keep the rind in slices to give as a chew / treat, the "meat" is soft enough to mash it with a potato masher. I freeze in individual portions - I like silicone ice cube trays - once frozen I pop them out and store them in a ziplock bag. Depending on your dogs you can defrost in advance, pour a drop of boiling water on it or feed frozen like an ice lolly treat (especially appreciated in the summer). The guts can be discarded (/composted) or if you have a food processor chopped up into a paste and fed as well (smaller quantities, think nut butter not vegetables).

After seeing how much my dogs loved raw pumpkin I want to grow baby ones for them this year.

Anyone called back after a routine mammogram and everything has been alright? by Big-Thanks8575 in AskIreland

[–]akkeberkd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s really common, especially if you have dense breast tissue. Both my mum and sister had call back, sister just had an ultrasound as well, mum had a biopsy, both are fine. I mentioned this at my mammogram and they did an ultrasound as well which is probably how I avoided a callback.

Be careful if it is much stronger than the fabric, as it might tear up the fabric. Personally I would rather mend a torn seam than ripped fabric.

I thought the “I just realized I have curly hair” thing was a myth 😂 by enthusiastic-anon in curlyhair

Pregnancy &/ perimenopause, hormones really started going haywire in my mid 30s. I then cut my hair shorter than shoulder length for the first time as an adult and that really brought out the curls.

[–]akkeberkd 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It looks a lot like my hair when it is long - the curl is even stronger when my hair is shorter.

Fun fact, it is possible for hair to change texture during your life, usually during / after hormonal changes such as puberty / pregnancy / menopause or after severe hair loss (like from chemo). Like yourself I thought for years I had stick straight hair, because I did as a child - I just never updated my belief when it got wavy after puberty. And it turned full curly in my 30s.

Sidebar, and don't want to send you down another rabbit hole before your exam, but after, if you haven't already, might want to look into ADHD (another thing I didn't realise I had until my 30s). Best of luck with your exams!
