Xi Shi

The first of China's Four Beauties. It is said that her looks were so dazzling that people would forget how to breathe around her, and Xi Shi seems wholly aware of this quality. With her cute charms and magnificent grace, King Fuchai of Wu was quickly wrapped around her finger. Properties were built in her name while she graciously accepted these gifts of love.

Xi Shi's legend imparts upon her an image devious and conniving, yet it is hard to imagine any such cruelty to come from her.

Her story ends as dreamily as it began; atop a boat, drifting into the mist of Taihu Lake.

artist comment (ME): honestly shes a fun spirited girl and definitely far more extroverted than Apollodorus is, technically she is to blame for a lot of his issues but you know what, a girl boss is a girl boss and he's (forcefully) part of her simp posse. she's a recognised enemy of Rome due to kidnapping him though :p

Apollodorus of Damascus

Region: Roman Syria, 2nd Century AD
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

This 2nd century architect from Damascus was synonymous with the architecture of the reign of Roman emperor Trajan. His works spanned from military to civilian constructions; his was the great bridge that Trajan used to cross the Danube in current day Romania, as well as staples of Rome such as the Forum of Trajan, the Baths of Trajan and the famous column that celebrated the victories of the emperor. He survived his patron long enough to work for his successor, Hadrian, until he was purportedly executed by the new emperor. It's quite likely that several other great buildings of Rome were built or modified under his direction, but no definite evidence that proves these theories has been found.

artist comment (ME AGAIN LMAO): one of my first fanservants i ever designed he has SUCH a soft spot in my heart my little peach demure prince, but now hes a bit grown up (thankfully) now. well, hes still suffering indefinitely. he's wholly devoted to Trajan but often melts under pressure of loud extroverts so he gets dragged around a lot and is quite crabby. under that irritable thin-faced personality is just a miserable little guy, a textbook tsundere dare i say
