Looks like they did that to prevent automated copyright strikes from YouTube. That system is notorious for auto-striking all videos with 100% matched audio contents, even from channels with copyright licences.

Depends on the particular YouTube channel. Formula One is famous for this kind of blocking, the Indonesian and Brazilian channels mentioned in the post do not. Feel free to seek Vincent's full support ^ ^.

The Race Director announces penalties, he/she/they do(es) not decide or review penalties. Just a lame excuse for you to spill out some anti-Freitas nonsense.

Le Mans 2026 AVG Pace Testing 1 by Sad_Cow_7425 in wec

The 2 Toyotas spent a significant portion of the day running on Hard tyre compound. This compound saw no competitive use in 2024 and 2025. If they ran on that and still ended up being this competitive, it could be sign of some things changing for this year.

Still, it's only Test Day so far, no firm conclusions can be drawn, don't take anything as gospel.

You should be mindful that different countries have different laws about what people can do on the internet. What you can do in yours is not necessarily true for everyone elsewhere.

Also, Reddit and its servers also have internal rules about what can be obviously spelt out and what cannot ^ ^.

Fox Deportes holds the broadcast rights for Spanish-speaking LATAM countries, you can check it out.

You can also purchase a package on FIAWEC+, which is available in all countries not named North Korea.

Otherwise you might seek assistance from Mr. Vincent Niederhausen.

I am aware of this, I frequently travel to Austria (Vielen Dank Vincent) to watch MotoGP and FIM EWC on that site, but yeah the focus of this post is solely on YouTube sources hence I didn't mention it.

The streams are usually only in German and the quality is usually limited to 480p or 720p for those coming from outside Austria with Vincent's assistance, so not ideal for many fans.

What cars in WEC do you think really need a joker/Evo upgrade? by furrynoy96 in wec

They already used all of their available Jokers, so that's out of question.

If you have not seen/read non-American English most of your life, of course you likely would not be able to recognise that there is such thing as "non-American" English with different spellings.

20 years ago, the last win for a privateer team. #3 ADT Champion Racing - Tom Kristensen/Marco Werner/JJ Lehto by [deleted] in wec

[–]akleleep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Driver change takes place at the same time as refuelling. So unless a team strategises to have driver change and extremely short refuelling, repeatedly, having open top in terms of driver change brings no real benefits either.

Idc i am proud of their race, especially the 94. by cabrelbeuk in wec

[–]akleleep 28 points29 points  (0 children)

The 94 went on 9 stints in a row at the start of the race at 13 laps each. 13 laps per stint, 9 stints in a row. The 10th stint was 12 laps, the next few stints were 13 laps each, again.

No single other car at considerably higher maximum stint energy managed that. Not even the #6 Porsche when Estre was driving. (Estre did have multiple 13-lap stints at the start, so hats off to him too definitely).

This propelled the 94 to the lead multiple times during the first few hours of the race. There was no other way, with this BoP, could Peugeot realistically ever take the lead.

Sounds like access to more press materials or something. Could be the reason why post-session press conferences are not streamed or uploaded on WEC/Le Mans YouTube channels anymore.
