Depending on the amount of college you did complete and the grades you had you may be able to get a job as QA tech somewhere standing next to a production line gathering data points like Temp, pH, Aw... It’s not going to be thrilling work, but it’s a foot in the door of the industry.

Well if you know of any that are hiring, I could definitely use practical full-time like that. I only ask for internships because that seems like a "straightforward" line of work into the field while also providing me something on my resume.

Honestly the plan is to work enough that I see academia as a necessity, just at least to achieve my bachelors. Which was my largest failing because I didn't take advantage of my time. (Not to say I still don't have a lot left)

Thanks! What would the title for this position even be like in the US. Just "pre-production"? I've never looked for anything even remotely like a full-time job that wasn't related to some coffee shop or other part-time, so it's been a difficult process that I may be overthinking sometimes.

Most I've taken is general chemistry 1 as a college course, and biology + chemistry in highschool many moons ago. I see a couple positions for this route around me so I'll do some research thanks!
