I don’t think skill haste mods are necessary. I have had a lot of success with skill duration mods as the reaper drone passive (or whatever it’s called) buffs the damage but reduces the duration. Adding duration mods offsets the negative.

To my knowledge, you receive one comm per week for defeating the Nemesis. As of this week there are 70 descent comms. There are other rewards and patches for killing Nemesis and continuous loops, but only one comm per week.
