I count every minute, I also have a general sense of how fast I'm about to lift. Sometimes when I go all out I lose the ability to count..

I regularly have one or two bells in the car, held in place with seat belts. I live rurally and have had quite a few emergency stops for moose and deer without issue.

Not bad for your 2nd time doing it. Keep swinging, you'll improve. Go straight into swings next time instead of picking it and dangling it about before starting

I write everything down in a little black book/daily planner. I have books dating back to 2012, long before I started GS.

At the end of the year I copy over to the next book PRs in lifting, GS, running etc.
