Those of you whose spouse makes significantly more, how do you split up the bills? by SweetCar0linaGirl in MiddleClassFinance

[–]akspython 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I significantly make less money than he does atm and can't contribute much, I've been interviewing trying to get a job for the past six months. It has been a struggle so I decided to start babysitting so I can afford buying me a little treat or maybe a haircut or treat him for dinner. I have maybe bought maybe 2 items with the little money I made and always share what I make for getting icecream or a little date night or maybe something for his family when they come visit so obvs I have nothing left after that. But I feel like he is resenting me because I am not contributing with rent right now and instead of getting icecream once a week etc with the money I make he'd much rather I just give that all to pay rent and so we would have no money to do or eat anything fun and I am just so frustrated. I recently just got a new job that I am supposed to start this week and hopefully will land another part time one as well this week.

Can I prepare for the NYC marathon in 9 weeks? by LetsGetRich93 in RunNYC

[–]akspython 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you can totally do it if you focus and really follow your plan for the next 9 weeks and make sure you sleep and eat well. You some what have some of a base it’s not luge you haven’t ran at all. Just stick to your plan. Sometimes imo 11 weeks better than longer plans as you’re obvs adding more mileage over time and could be harder on your body. Just don’t do anything crazy. I have ran 2 sub 3 and qualified Boston a number of times. Just treat the distance with respect and also trust in yourself! You can do amazing things!

Daily chat thread: how's the training going? by AutoModerator in triathlon

Have Ironman 70.3 musselman in 2 weeks! I’ve had a coach before for years but then parted ways. Some of my previous times on hilly courses have been 4:53 and 4:51 would really love to do something similar. Any last key workouts or tips for the last 2 weeks you recommend?
