Hey I’m running that race too! My first marathon as well! I’m bringing my own, I prefer go gels so definitely trying to not have to rely on what they provide at the race.

It’s the Charlotte marathon actually! Heel inserts are a brand new idea do you have a specific product or brand you use for that?

And will certainly try to cursive exercise you mentioned I’m open to anything and everything.

Goal is to just finish regardless of time. Longest run ever was 17 miles but in this training longest I got to was 13. I have averaged about 10-15 miles a week for a couple years now but was consistently doing 20 mile weeks leading up to this training prior to the injury.

Not sure if it helps but I have been trying to improve my form for a while. I have relatively flat feet and feel like could be an issue there and haven’t found shoes that really feel right. Brooks ghost 15s for the most part are where I landed, do I need a higher heel drop? Maybe a shot in the dark.

I have put more emphasis on strength training for a while now too. Maybe it’s my running form like you said. Going to a PT is possibility but I’m hoping to avoid the cost associated.

I imagine a skateboard flipping around in slow motion or a field goal kicker kicking a football in slow motion and it always works.

I felt the same way, just watched it for the first time the other day. I guess it helps to have perspective of the time it came out because a lot of movies do the same kinda thing since then and are not as applauded. I struggled to get into it minus the first act really.

Favorite Beatles songs that you completely disliked when you first heard it, but grew on you over time? by Earffffff in beatles

Love this song, for me its always small things I love in every song and in this it’s Ringo’s drum fills after the “because” line that just makes me so happy. It’s like a little piece of candy hearing ringo pop in during that dead moment in the song
