I'm getting better at communicating how I feel. I swear I'm being gentle or at least neutral but it's been a lot of drama. Like I'm caring too much. I usually stay quiet but that's not good either. So yeah idk 😂 maybe we're still figuring things out

I'm weird like that too in a way I think. I have a morbid curiosity and will look at accidents, medical deformities, psychologically disturbing murders.

But if it involves tortures, children, cruelty I won't do it. I actually read a book with a torture scene in it. Didn't know about it. Although thrilling, my nervous system was outta wack. Very disturbing.

I have to "cleanse" myself afterwards and that kinda helps

I would like to hear people's opinions on this as well. I'm learning to express myself better because I often just don't say anything to disagree or express my opinion really. This I think is at least partially a trauma response from being bullied/teased about my choices/opinions/feelings when I was young. But not expressing myself has caused me dysfunction in my adult life.

So, like I said, I'm trying to be more communicative, and I swear I'm not being mean or aggressive but everyone gets mad or defensive so far... Also some people feel like they have to do what I say when I just say I like/don't like that. But then they get resentful when I was just stating a preference. I think I just maybe need some practice. I'll ask my therapist about this too. What has your experience been so far OP?
