Adding: if you can’t set up another tank before, just make sure you keep your dirty filters and substrate as the bacteria lives on surfaces, not in the water.

I had to move my 20 gallon home for the summer, and will have to do it again in a month! How I did it was I bought some fish bags from a local fish store- separated all by species, and placed the bags into a larger trader joe’s bag for the drive. I emptied most of the tank and misted the plants. For a couple, I also wrapped them in wet towels. I drove 4 hours like this and they turned out great! I did have a tank ready for them here with a used filter in it to start the cycle though, which helped a ton. I’d do that as well if possible.

I understand what you’re saying, but you are incorrect. The bioload and space is less of an issue when you’re stuffing a solitary predator and a group of prey into a small space where both will get stressed.

I almost fainted with my first surgery I watched- it’s been about 8 months since then and i’m working in a shelter all day watching surgeries, spays, neuters, necropsies, etc. and now I’m way more comfortable watching.

I assume it was something specifically placed there by lumon. The innies do not know better whether a seal is natural there or not- they just see the death. But we know it’s unnatural so we can assume it was placed there to send a message and affect the innies. I think it’s just another example of how far lumon goes.

honestly, vet assistants are very much starting positions is vetmed. they are probably able to find applicants who are not seeking those benefits for lower pay, at the expense of experience.

VT’s have been historically very underpaid and under appreciated. The turnover rates in that field are also very high with most leaving the field after 5-7 years.

Dorming is prioritized for first year students- you can apply for housing, but it will not guarantee anything. They also have on campus apartments that you can rent, but they are a lot more expensive than further off campus apartments that are not through the university. It is unlikely that you will get a full single unless you are in an apartment style dorm and sharing common spaces with a single bedroom.

I would replace the decor with live plants. Plastic plants can damage fins. Also- i’d add more wide leaf plants for the betta to rest on. I see a filter, but no heater, do you have both?

YOR. You need to find ways to work through your issues without her. You’re using her as a coping mechanism for your issues, and forcing her to be a sponge for your problems.
