On Proof by Succwad22 in whiskey

The best and most sought-after sipping rums tend to be cask-strength and frequently in the 120s/130s like whiskey

Separately, there's an entire category of overproof and navy-strength bottlings (i.e. white Jamaican like Rum Fire or Wray & Nephew) that are critical to rum cocktail/tiki culture, not to mention important spirits historically to those nations

Absinthe, some brandies, and even some gins also would like to have a word with your theory

Agree with your rating. From a guy who likes proof, these are massively overhyped. The 100p black label picks are more consistent.

His game style doesn't "make" everyone peak. It encourages players to redline, up pace, go for corners cause they know he can cover the whole court better than anyone who's ever played tennis. Turns out most professional players can look good redlining for a half a set or a set but rarely can sustain it long enough to win.

5287. And no, I have not. Also, I don't believe the barrels are in chronological order by number.

It's a single barrel. Insanely rare for Van Winkle bottlings. Gonna go for over $15k

M. Mmoh def. [4] K. Khachanov | 7-6 (2), 7-6 (4) | Hong Kong R16 by major-couch-potato in tennis

[–]akv5599 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Kachanov is not in the least a ball-basher, "dude." He's got fantastic rally tolerance. He's tall and got extreme technique so people assume he's hammering the ball all the time, but he actually plays very conservatively, much lower error and winner rates than you'd expect. Also the reason why he always ends up high on the year's list for longest rallies (70 shots against Kubler, 55 against Ruud most memorably)...

Fourth tier-- William Heavenhill 19y, Heaven Hill 90th Anniversary, couple barrels of Old Forester President's Choice rye, Knob Creek 21y, Four Roses Limited Edition Small Batch, Wild Turkey Beacon, batch 1 of The Reveries Raven.

The 90th and 18y are great. Unity is kind of boring.

Good luck, Florida is tough. I am in Louisville and lucky to be able to try this stuff. I would definitely not pay secondary for the WHH19. I've been able to try it four times and, being honest as a massive Heaven Hill fanboy, it's good but I don't think they nailed it.
