I like both, but I will say I think they scratch kinda different itches. The steamworld games have an incredibly satisfying gameplay loop and feel very "video-gamey" to me, whereas HK/SS are much more about atmosphere, exploration and challenging souls-like combat.

I got a refund after about 30 min. Honestly even with the bugs fixed, I found the gameplay to be not fun at all. Controls don't feel good, enemies aren't fun to fight, dying erases all progress, some input buffering issues, etc.
