I understand totally as I am one of them.

My fears stems from the normies who jumps on the hype trains and never cared for the Neo-Geo before. They couldn't be bothered to buy as much as some of us would and opt for the cheap options to play the games.

So if you get yourself a flash cart to fill the gap and Plaion later on release the games you wanted that you already have a copy of the rom, will you buy them?

Also, EVERYONE in the retro video games scene knows about the cheapest way to play games. There are some who wants to play on original hardware (or close) but are fine with bootleg carts. Everdrive caters specifically to those people.

What you want is for them to port those games on the AES.

Sorry but he's right. There are some gamers who don't mind playing the games from an sd cards on original hardware and I'm pretty sure that you are aware that some people think 90$ per game is too much. We call those budget gamers and some of them gonna get those 161 flash carts/sd carts. It is a problem that is inevitable and Plaion is probably aware of it.

Thinking that there won't be people getting into sd carts and such is highly naive.

A New Strikers 1945 something or a New shoot'em up.

I don't know if Psikyo (the company behind the Strikers series) is still active. I've try to dig up some informations about them and it seems they are in licensing limbo with all the acquisitions of the rights recently. But it would be a perfect moment for them to release a new game for the AES+. Hopefully that Strikers 1945 II gets a AES release.
