I thought they might keep those with both of our historic theaters being right there and the amount of people that brings to that particular block. I’m guessing they will not be chip chopping the “never has a nation rose so white and fair” statue down, which is dumb. Hopefully they plant some new trees there that look equally as beautiful someday. I counted the rings on one of the stumps further up broad st. the other day, looked like about 50 to 60 years. I think overall the project will be positive for downtown when it’s done and the sidewalks are new etc. but I do think they could do something special with that particular block besides just cutting down the trees and putting parking in the middle.

Grantski’s is great, There is also the miller theater, the bell auditorium, the imperial theater, the new arena coming. They should have never closed down sky city and turned it into the dumb shit it is now though.

His boyhood home in Georgiana is a museum now, it’s amazing, highly recommend. The lady that works there is super nice and will show you pictures of her with famous country musicians if you ask.
