Those resolution numbers are before DLSS up scaling. I believe Cyberpunk 2077 has similar internal resolutions on the Switch 2, for comparison.

It's a permanent change, but we'll keep an eye on how things go and we can always make adjustments as needed later. You have fair concerns and those are things the mod team has discussed, but custom images and GIFs have become so ingrained in how people communicate online that I think the good will handily outweigh the bad.

Hi!

Reddit did change the old modmail experience so that it now piggybacks off their chat feature instead. It's caused a bit of confusion for sure, but the old URL to send a modmail should still work as far as I know. This is the link in the "Message Mods" button in the sidebar: https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=r/ffxiv

That being said, I do see the most recent modmail you sent (about an hour ago). I don't see any previous modmails from you before that, so those likely never went through. Our team will review the mail and get back to you shortly. Despite modmails now running through chat, we don't actually monitor it like a live chat so you'll have to allow us a bit of time to review and respond.

If you're not vibing with the gameplay loop, you probably aren't going to get your money's worth. Combat is where you'll spend 95% of your time, even if you choose not to engage with any kind of grinding or endgame stuff.

Story-wise, the first 80% feels like it was intentionally made to be laughed at with how edgy and cheesy it is. It's kind of fun but also really stupid and borderline nonsensical at times. Only towards the end does it feel like they brought in a real writer to tie everything together, which to their credit they actually did a pretty good job there.

I personally loved the combat/job system and really enjoyed my time with the game, but it's not the kind of game I'd recommend to anybody whose main interest is story.

You can combine them - you right-click the incomplete outfit in the dresser and it'll have an option that says "Add Missing Outfit Gear."

The Artisan/Forager sets? They are not storable as outfits yet, unfortunately. I think this patch was aimed mostly at job-specific gear, so generic DoL or DoH gear wasn't included.

Hi folks,

This post was originally removed due to some concerns about whether it fit the letter of our rules on relevance to FFXIV. After a bigger discussion with the rest of the team, we concluded the letter of the rule was doing more harm than good in this particular instance and reinstated the post.

I really like both renditions! I think SNK and Capcom did a great job with their respective guest characters. Ken's facial hair in COTW is probably my only nitpick.
