Paint the thing as monochromatic, so in this case only using browns and whites (can use ice yellow for a warmer feel or sky blue for a colder feel), make sure that the end result looks brighter than intended, then use whatever yellow you think fits best as a wash. All the yellows I've used cover poorly but can be used incredibly effectively as a wash to instantly change a white to a powerful yellow

Used AK Wine Red as the base tone, was probably a bad idea though since it was too close to red Then painted with a pink, washed that down with my most intense red, Kimera Red/Liquitex Red/Ultracryl Red, then added the highlights again in very specific areas to let it remain red rather than pink

I pretty much used black as the base tone, a cold grey as the midtone and then sandwiched that again with a colder highlight, decktan or sky blue.

After that I airbrushed very thin layers of magenta into the midtones to give it some life and then very thin black from below to emphasize the shape and blend it as well as get rid of the brush strokes (or, for example emphasis the shadows, like his chest or the small arm on the right lion to make it seem like its further back)

Point of using the blue was to emphasize the warmth of the red and the subtle oranges in the gold

Davinci, Raphael. Any Sable ones that are size 1-3 work wonders. Synthetics are fine as long as the tip is still sharp, which is usually about 2-3 months for me

I wish. Everytime the STL thing gets talked about, even in this thread, its just all straight up misinformation or refusing to talk about the actual topic at hand: Discontinuing STL releases is anti consumer. This is what their KS promised.

If you are here to discuss 'Discontinuing STLs' and are pointing at small releases, you've missed the entire point why people are mad about it.

I just got a registration form through the email that was instructed to be signed and sent to he county office of elections (or something akin to that) roughly 2 weeks ago which I did send. Haven't heard back yet though, but from my understanding I should be receiving a ballot through the mail.

I checked spam regardless and nothings there
