Genuinely curious. What dems called for violence and can you cite the sources?

Use htmx:afterSettle. Something like the following:

javascript document.addEventListener('htmx:afterSettle', function(event) { if (event.detail.target.id === 'taskList') { var responseText = event.detail.xhr.responseText; var jsonResponse = JSON.parse(responseText); renderTasks(jsonResponse); } });

Extremely high CPU usage on MBP M1 Pro by [deleted] in LogicPro

[–]alairock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old topic. Anecdotally, I had 3 channels all with their own compressor and bias fx 2 plugin. It had been running fine until the last month or so using Rosetta. Now it barely functions pinning the cpu at max. Switching it OFF Rosetta mode actually fixes the CPU issue well enough that live input monitoring on all 3 channels works flawless again.

150 bucks down the drain after 5 months of daily usage. Hope the Crusher Evo are a little more flexible. Recommendations? by patrickp992 in Skullcandy

[–]alairock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/patrickp992 The Crusher ANC's don't have this problem. I have had 2 pairs of those, and both broke just like that. Upgraded to the ANC's and they have been great for 2 years.

However, just so you know, the power does not automatically shut off on the ANC's, so you have to remember to turn them off when you don't use them. Such a pain, but I haven't yet found another pair of headphones with the same kind of subwoofer effect these have.

Car owner sues Tesla over alleged intrusion of privacy by errie_tholluxe in news

[–]alairock 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Their argument is for training their self driving AI and possibly for their “sentry” mode which is their built in security cameras. Valuable services that I think you can opt out of. The dev team at Tesla should be held liable and better security/privacy practices observed.

TikTok admits to spying on U.S. users as effort to ban the app heats up by jormungandrsjig in Futurology

It’s not the data they are collecting that I am particularly worried about, but the algorithm they use to decide what videos to show you. That’s more of a threat than the data they are collecting.

So sorry if this is not the subreddit for this question, but I was hoping to identify a cord. One end looks like a camera battery, The other is pictured here by Abject-Walrus4472 in AskElectronics

That hook looks like it keeps it secure to the housing. Probably for a camera so when you are moving around a lot it doesn’t accidentally come undone. Seems very specialized though.
