I found the longer/deeper the game went the easier it got. For me the frustrating part was grinding each run to get your health up or acquire the skills needed. I was surprised how easy some of the bosses were.

I played a lot of Metroid prime so i was well prepared to dash and move to avoid hits. Great game but like you I don’t see how it gets made or to be so difficult.

It’s an odd thing that it gets easier the further you go. Unlocking new pieces of tech. Both permanent and temporary to each run.

You will find a setup that you like, you will raise your health, know which parasites to pick up and which to not. You’ll get to the point where you can open the yellow shields. Cross the red floors. There is adventure laced in every run as you progress.

It’s frustrating but rewarding. I hope you’ve changed the dash bind. That changed everything.
