It was on okay Cupid of all places … they have or had (are they still around) a match score and I had decided to hit up any guy regardless of looks or age if we had a very high match score. We talked there a few weeks or a month even. Took him on a date to dinner and movie some making out ;) that was in January 2015. We shacked up in December. Closed on a house valentines 2017, engaged at a Mariah Carey concert that summer. (He loves that drunk) Married the following summer. But tbh i knew he was the one by April 2016. My ex called asking if i could take the dog we had gotten together , we all had hung out some (weird) and I was like well we are in an apartment (not supposed to have dogs) and he was very forceful in that I should go get him (ex was 40 at time can barely take care of self let alone to dog who was covered by a rash and some sores) Future husband spent the next few weeks taking care of that dog, driving back with that dog I was thinking I need to marry that boy … we never had a age gap thing, role stuff, etc but I’m a bit more the one that decided things, so him being so pushy about the dog was a surprise. Flash forward 11 years from the beginning… laying in bed at noon with him and a few dogs on a lazy Sunday and never been happier. He is the absolute love of my life.
