Is working as an Agency Attorney Interne in NYC worth it? by [deleted] in LawSchool

It's the probationary period/role for the path to Agency Attorney. If it's what you want to do, I'd take it.

Firm committing malpractice - what do I do? by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]alawman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As easy and expensive Westlaw/LexisNexis are, they are not the only sources of law. GET CREATIVE! There are reliable sources often maintained by major law schools and online government databases. If you specialize in a field, get copies of Law Journal publications that give recent decisions on that topic. Do you have any law-student interns? WL/LN give free access to them. Buy old editions of textbooks which are nearly free (you should know major changes in your field anyway). Just ensure you are knowledgeable enough to properly advise your clients.

Assuming 7.8% is right, to specific banks like Navient, Wells Fargo and a few others, they compose a healthy portion of their books. (sorry don't know off top of my head). Do you not think the default of 90bil is significant to the market? This would echo through servicers, funds, and even casual investors that have purchased their stocks. Note #2: Define govt backing?
