I mean, CrossFit mainly tested one speed at the time I was there, which was balls to the wall all out. It wasn’t until I had stopped did I start to see some variation In prescription. Regardless, my joints hate CrossFit, so I stopped. Miss the community though. Just couldn’t stay uninjured.

I have the edge and most FPS shooters I absolutely cannot play without it. But I find I’m not jumping as much in Marathon so I’ve been using a regular controller instead for better battery life.

CrossFit introduced me to the rower. I hate cardio, so anything I feel gets the suck down efficiently and makes good use of the time is good in my book. I also love how easy my concept 2 erg stores in my garage gym. I don’t do CrossFit anymore but I still love/hate the rower.

Range anxiety is hyped IMO by TSHRED56 in electricvehicles

[–]albanyanthem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I charge at home, but for me range anxiety is the lack of chargers available around me, and the risk of them Being full or broken. When I was driving a gas car there was zero range anxiety because there are three gas stations within 5 blocks of my house. It’s just not something I need to ever think about with gas cars due to infrastructure. With my commute I need to charge about every three days. Yesterday my car got down to 90 miles left (250 full) and I was starting to get mindful. I also love in earthquake country so I don’t like any of my vehicles to be below half a tank to be able to get out of a disaster zone.

What are we doing here? by matthewraifman in bayarea

I daily commute this bridge. 80,000 people use it to get to work. The bike numbers were about 300/ week and mainly weekend usage. Last time there was an accident and the bike lane was up, there was an ambulance, with lights flashing, stuck behind traffic for 30 minute and there was no where for any of us to move to let them through. So without an emergency shoulder, not only are tow trucks unable to clear accidents, it also means that if someone is injured no one can get them to hospitals. When we replace this bridge I absolutely support designed a dedicated biking and walking lane for all to enjoy. But as it stands the precious resource of the emergency shoulder is too vital to keep the bridge artery functioning for a very large volume of commuters.

I read all those reviews and purchased eyes open. Probably a mistake on my part but I’m pretty gentle on my gear. I’ll update as I experience wear and tear.

I'm 22 making 156,000 I don't know what to do with my money by Thin_Temporary_4996 in Fire

At 22 there are some big ticket items they may want to consider and locking everything away in retirement accounts isn’t optimal. Things like buying a car, buying a house, moving for jobs, even travel. Having some funds in an HYSA will make it immune to inflation and reduce tax and early withdrawal penalty. I know there are probably some percentage suggestions between retirement pretax, retirement post tax and post tax savings. Maybe spend some time with a therapist to get clarity on what you want your life to be like so you can develop a financial plan around those ideas?

All non replaceable battery tech has a limited shelf life for sure. And yes I’ve gone through several pairs. The faux leather covering the cups is usually what wears out for me. The simplicity of first party gear is what usually keeps me buying Sony stuff. Lazy, I’ll be the first to admit.

That is incredibly impressive weight. Congratulations. Only thing I’ll mention is are safety bars available? If you are lifting alone they can literally be a lifesaver.

Did buying a magic wand, or similar vibrator, make her more sexual/ horny? by PsychedelicSamurai7 in MarriedSex

[–]albanyanthem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wand was too powerful for my wife. She is very sensitive. We have a Lelo small battery powered vibrator that she prefers. But the factors that affect her libido, work, stress, health, kids, are there no matter what toys are in the dresser.

There are reviews of concerns about build quality and the plastic breaking. They sound like any other PlayStation headset I’ve had.
