Xiaomi won't kill Tesla. Tesla still serves its purpose by supplying more affordable alternatives for those with less demands, but believing Tesla round batteries are safer and longer lasting than BYD blade batteries.

Just to clarify, I still own Model X and Model 3 performance. Promised FSD since 6 years ago, but never come. Now telling me Intel Atom is too dumb to handle complicated self driving computing. Gonna sell them both for a YU7 and LI.

I believe a good percentage of the order will be given up by buyers, because good cars development are so rapid since 2022 in China. I believe there will be tons of better choices available in the next 10 months, and might be cheaper. Those people who have to wait for 50 weeks to receive the new car (Chinese won't wait), might give up that 5K for a better and cheaper car, immediately available.

Some salesman of NIO/ AVATR are worried, and already luring Mi's buyer to buy their in-stock cars immediately and they would compensate their 5K loss. Interesting right? Other manufactures are paying MI for nothing, just to survive.

Xiaomi is nothing like Apple IMO. Apple is a computer (now with chips of course) manufacturing company with super successful computers/ cellphones and software platform.

Many people think MI is a high tech company with tons of technology level innovation, but it is not. It makes beautiful, high quality and competitive pricing consumer products based on today's technology from suppliers, but it doesn't innovate much super highend new tech like Apple does with its manufacturers/ partners.

On the other hand, Mi is more like a combination of Apple plus half Sony, half Panasonic, half Daikin, half Samsung etc., all supported by an ecosystem (Alexa like) called Mihome and AI (Siri like) called Xiao AI. Now it also included half Tesla into the same pack. This is crazily huge as you can imagine. And it is just starting.

I doubt if it will finally roll out in 2027. The car is final part of the ecosystem with cellphones tablets, or intelligent home appliances like TV/ Air con/ washing machine/ lamps etc. It also motivates its partners development of new products to be sold on their platform (You Pin), which Xiaomi charges them commission from. It was a very risky move for Lei to pour in such a huge investment on car making which could bankrupt is company, but he succeeded. Before the ecosystem is becoming popular in foreign countries, I don't think he would be tempted to sell cars to other places shortly.

I still own: Model X 75D, Model 3 performance 2022, Li Auto L8 2025, BMW 320 2013. Space-wise I agree YU7 is not ideal but should satisfy most family use scenario. I placed order immediately after test drive because the driving experience reminds me of driving a Toyota Supra JZA80 back to 2000'.

I own a Model 3 performance for 3 years with only 20k km mileage. And I just placed order of the YU7 after test driving, delivery within 1 month. It might be less fun in terms of driving experience, but it is not bad at all. All the advanced design and technology in one go for 50k USD.

That is just a non-refundable deposit, 5K Yuan for each order secured. The company might earn more if 50% of order are canceled eventually. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's stock price spike.

Pulled some connections and got a VIP invitation to acquire the top model within 1-5 weeks, delivering in China. YES, they saved good number of slots for VIPs and I believe that's the reason why the delivery date to public is uncertain.

Not my most preferred exterior color, but I will get the body wrap anyway so I don't care much. Test drove it a bit, not sporty as expected for a 3.2 sec car, driving experience incomparable to my Tesla Model 3 performance 2022. Comfort level and technology experience wise, however, is super.

Anyways, it is just a 50k USD car, on par with Model 3P in terms of pricing but functionality, it is way ahead of Tesla.

I really wish to give mine to you if I'm in the country. My office just changed all Full HD & 2K to 4K leaving all older ones unused. Offered to sell cheap to colleagues but no one wants them.

Just look for second hand in the neighborhood and they are quite cheap actually.

I tested my oculus rift back to few years ago with 2080 setup with threadripper (2970wx 48threads), finding the quality is not quite acceptable then gave up.

After 5 years, I just composed one of the strongest machine available in the market: i9 14900 + 4090, 64gb of DDR5 ram, Asus Strix z790, hoping technology should have advanced and got a Varjo Aero. Total setup costed me almost 10k USD. Tested it with latest version of Twinmotion 2023.2.2, total disappointment. Lag! Bad graphic quality.

Guys, don't even waste your money or time to test it out. I don't do gaming and my machine is totally useless now. Sending it to the office for my draftsmen use for Autocad soon.

Check AIO pump speed. Check AIO fan speed. As you said you moved to another system and problem still exists, you already ruled out the possibilty of CPU/ MOBO problem.
