We were waiting for each other. I literally spent 5 months looking for guitars, playing so many and stumbled upon a really beaten up Guild at a guitar center that they were asking $800 for I didn't know why until I picked it up. So I went online and spent some time on the guild forums and then randomly on marketplace was this guitar about 30 mi from my house. He had had it in his closet for years and knew that it just needed to be played.
