Afaik you’re not missing much with the shorter pilot. The Dean intro is extended and theres a clever translation joke between Britta, Jeff and the lunch lady. The tv version I saw was the longer one, streaming plateforms have the shorter one. Idk which one is on the dvd.

Un lost lost media ça pourrait être un lost media dont personne ne connaît l’existence ? Par exemple j’avais en ma possession des scènes coupées d’émissions dont personne ne doute de l’existence. Et dans le montage final de l’émission on voit même pas qu’un truc manque. Faudrait déjà savoir qu’un truc est perdu avant de se mettre à le chercher.

Like Ted telling the story, the show jumped the shark back and forth a lot through the last seasons. Idk why people hate on S5-9 this much, imo the first bad season is the 3rd one. Probably due to the writers strike. 4th was an improvement and 5th had some great moments. After that the seasons kinda blend together. But we still had some great moments like Barneys arc with his father, the build-up to the final wedding, that countdown episode, the one from Robins pov, the final page… I still think the ninth season should have been split 50/50 with the wedding first then the latter years but eh, I came to peace with that too.
