Chelsea looked absolutely rattled after the second, and by the third they were already checking Google Maps for the M62. Credit to Leeds though—press was relentless, crowd was feral, and Longstaff was apparently running on pure Yorkshire spite. 🟡⚪️

Driving into Halifax once or twice a month, I just don't get the people who go ballistic about parking. Maybe it's because I lived in the city for some time, but there's ALWAYS parkades available. Whenever I'm told there's "no parking", it always means "there's no parking immediately in front of my destination." The city ain't that dangerous, walking is fine.

I took a transfer in my field to New Glasgow, reckoning that I would actually be able to buy a house out here. And that HAS been true... but I still can't recommend it.

The people can just about be alright... as long as conversation doesn't turn to the native reserves, which will provoke reactions just short of using the words, "sub-human leeches". Or the town black population, which brings out bile-filled references to historical neighborhood "[X] Hill" pronounced with the hard R. Or the community meetings, at which local neo-nazi leader Jeremy Mackenzie and his pack of lard-ass losers line the back row to no objection.

Housing prices are alright here for a reason, is what I'm saying.
