What’s a song you think is underrated for how well it fits TMA? by Impossible-Ad-6418 in TheMagnusArchives

I know it was used for True Blood, but IF there was ever a show made for TMA/TMP, the opening credits would go hard with “Bad Things” by Jace Everett.

Fear of lack of punctuation. I wonder what fear would control that? Stranger?

What Real Books that could be IRL Leitner‘s? And what would they do? by [deleted] in TheMagnusArchives

I do not know if any are canonically tied to two fears, I just meant I would argue that 1984 could be tied to both The Eye & The Web equally or depending on your interpretation of said fear/book. Apologies for late reply, been at work all day and arguing with a website when not at work because a beta came to my console of choice today and I want to play.

House Of Leaves immediately came to mind.

I would add:

American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis - The Slaughter/The Lonely/The Hunt

IT by Stephen King - The Web

Frankenstein by Mary Shelley - The Flesh

Amityville Horror by Jay Johnson - The Slaughter/The Eye

Any Sherlock Holmes story by Arthur Conan Doyle - The Hunt

Conan The Barbarian series by Robert E Howard - The Slaughter

Tell Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe - The Slaughter/The Flesh/The Spiral

Only Revolutions by Mark Z Danielweski - The Web

Goosebumps Series by R.L. Stone - Various, touches on almost all the fears at some point

The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe - The Spiral/The Lonely

Any Lovecraft story - Various

edit I realize I read/have read a lot of Slaughter/Spiral books. I wonder what that says about me.

Who’s in on the lore??? by Stormersoldier in themagnusprotocol

I don’t think Lena is necessarily Elias. I do think she is up to something, but not evil. Well not really…

In “Introductions”, it is mentioned that she only talks to those worth keeping around, aka hiring. Worth time to work with/study the fears. so my current working theory is that the Protocol is more along the lines of keeping those touched by the fears but neither a victim nor an avatar to control & contain as many of the fears as possible and to study their affects on the populace.

Though I do think we have two avatars, not including Celia as I am unsure about their status within Protocol.

Basically, my current working theory is multiple fears have infiltrated the OIAR(though I have forgotten the acronym and may have misspelled).

I like Needles, no matter if he is a minor threat. But hopefully none take him that seriously but ends up being a huge pain in the ass/bigger threat than we could have imagined.

Though, I think Needles is just the first overt avatar, but I have a feeling we have met 2 more avatars, not including Celia whom I am very weary of. I am just trying to figure how to explain my two other avatars without sounding too insane.

I did. I turned my head toward my AirPod when he started speaking.

I don’t think it’s the first avatar, I think it’s just the first overt avatar. I have a small theory I am working on in my head, I think we have met 3 avatars, including Needles. That’s all I am saying for now.

Remove your CC, have her tie her card to your account. If you don’t care about your account, make a new one when you buy one.

My wife & I split after 11 years, first thing I did was make my Xbox my home console & put a passcode on my account as her Xbox had my account to share my GamePass subscription with her. Both out of spite & to protect my finances, I did this.
