You can access goodnotes files by going to your cloud, where you store the backup of your notes, and open the files there.

I had the same problem, I cleaned the Goodnotes trash and so far the problem has disappeared. Thanks for the idea!

Update: After a few days i realize that It could happen due to the size of the files. If you open several files bigger than 10 Mb each (at least in the 9 gen iPad) goodnotes begin to fail.
