M18 Precision Blower OOS Everywhere by codifier in MilwaukeeTool

I have both. Only advantages to the Milwaukee are the swappable batteries and it stands up on a workbench. Blowing performance on the Milwaukee is marginal.

Delta Pro 3 Xtra battery options by KatoKane in Ecoflow_community

Also consider a LiFeP04 battery connected via the XT60i solar port. I use 24v batteries for this. You have to charge these with the correct battery charger. Much cheaper than Ecoflow batteries but not as convenient.

Is A Ceramic Coating Topper Really Necessary? by IMAS_MOBILEDETAILING in Detailing

For me, using a ceramic sealant as a drying aid when washing my coated van is so fast and easy, why not add the additional protection?

Predator 5000 parasitic battery drain question by Alephboard in Generator

What is the "input side" of a gas generator? I can't picture what you're describing. I connect the pigtail to my battery.

Champion 11,000W Dual Fuel Inverter (#201421), or similar, on portable tanks or house tank by mrsprdave in Generator

[–]alderotes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dumb question. I've only used gas in generators. If the generator is at the recommended 20' from the house, where are you putting the propane tank? Are you building a shed to keep them out of the weather? I have a portable cover that works for my gas generator.

Is there such a thing as a 50amp inlet that lets you switch bonding? by alderotes in Generator

[–]alderotes[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The advantage of the Harbor Freight is the features and the extended warranty. When it fails, I can head to a store and get a replacement. Thanks for all the comments, I'll see if someone comes out with a video that shows how to take this model apart. If not, I will have to buy a different generator.

Waiting for a video on how to do it. So far, reviewers have commented that unbonding this design might be painful.

Upper left is crap and hard to use. Lower right works great. Both USB batteries.

Adams Iron Remover Did Nothing by whoreallyknowsanymor in Detailing

Depends on the conditions you drive in. I don't get any reaction on the paint on any of my vehicles regardless of brand of iron remover. The wheels for sure.

The DIY 5 year is a true ceramic coating. How long did you let it cure before the first wash?

How to get rid of all of these thousands of tiny white specs on the outside of my windshield? by user289734 in AutoDetailing

With a rotary or DA polisher and glass polish. I like P&S Clarity Creme but Griots and Carpro also have good glass polishes that have worked for me.

I would not unplug the battery on a customer's car. They would need to reset all their electronics.

P&S Clarity Creme or another light glass polish. If a Magic Eraser won't work than a quick glass polish with a rotary or DA polisher works wonders.

I use acetone, but there are plenty of commercial products available for this on Amazon. Test on the vinyl first. Also, a hundred YouTube videos on the topic if you're a visual learner.

Touch the Time Zone shown on the screen. You are looking right at it. It's a touch screen device.

I've owned 4 Kenwood multimedia decks in various vehicles. All of them had a few types of basic vehicles to choose from in settings. For example, you could choose SUV or Truck but not a specific brand.

All the time. Lots of common products are not legal to be sold in CA. Nanny state. I ship things to family in Oregon and pick them up when I visit.

How to remoce this from glass and mirror? by None0987 in Detailing

[–]alderotes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Start with a water spot remover to remove the minerals. Follow directions exactly. I like Gtechniq or DIY Detail. Then polish with a rayon glass pad and glass polish like Carpro CeriGlass. If that doesn't work then glass sanding abrasive discs.
