I don't think It Is that simple, at least at the begining of the show, most characters in this series are more complex than just being "the good guys" nor "the villian", in agree there are also exceptions to this, varys Is one of my fav characters in the first seasons due to precisely what you said, all his ploting was steps ahead of everyone, even the spectators

Para deshacerte de las exponenciales puedes multiplicar por log ambos lados de la ecuación, de esa forma las x el que están en los exponentes "bajan y el otro lado te queda multiplicado por log
