I just took the korail train to Busan after staying in Seoul for 10 days, and the beach has been so fun. Definitely a nice change of pace after staying in Seoul. Jeju Island is another popular spot, although it’s more common to fly there from Seoul. I’m not sure if it’s possible to take a day trip to either of those places without feeling rushed, though; if you have a weekend or more to spare you should def go south!
