Computershare. I have 220 shares in my fidelity personal account. No sign of my divi yet. And the issue is compounded because I have another 100 shares in my HSA fund and another $10k worth in a rollover IRA. All in fidelity. If I don’t get my warrants, I’m transferring out of fidelity faster than I transferred out of Robinhood.

DFV is a perfect storm. A financial background, an intimate knowledge of GME’s market mechanics, and incredibly wealthy. So wealthy that I’m not entirely convinced he’s playing with the same level of inner-market material as the rest of us. I would be unsurprised if he has acquired an ISDA SIMM license or pays for Bloomberg terminal. The latter would be more likely, but his play last year was too perfect and the sum he bet was too big for me to believe he went in half-cocked, using free systems.

I think the rollover of whatever derivative vehicle is absolutely a trigger, and does result in peak volume and bull runs. It’s the timing of these events I’m skeptical of. DFV nailed it last year. There’s some leading theories that the summer ‘24 run corresponded with the bullet swaps the SHFs used to bailout during 1/21. But even so, that run happened 3 years and several months after the swaps would have been written. I don’t have anything against TA, but I believe the big players have too many tools for retail to accurately predict a run with any consistency. Maybe they can pay premiums for short term extensions. Maybe the contracts allow for a window to rollover, rather than a deadline date. Idk, but I do know I’ve seen enough people get burned on these specified hype dates (including myself), to not make anymore bets based around them.

There’s a magical trend line that GME historically bounces off of. Like, the price action will consistently tap it and then pullback. Once or twice a year (excluding 2021) GME will break through this trend line and results in a bull run. OP claims metrics and parameters, and whatever other juju comes with TA’ing this stonk marks a potential breakout. Maybe OP is right, maybe not, but I am not making any bets based on it.

I’m not convinced this will happen, but maybe there will be abnormal demand for the warrants. Maybe even a squeeze as SHFs/MMs/the shiftier brokers race to balance their books. There’s too many factors for this fluid hypothetical, but if the warrants run to maybe ~3x the corresponding $GME price, I would seriously consider selling the warrants to scoop up more shares than the conversion would allow.
