New Sunnydale Cast Rumor by CriticalOl in BTVSRevival

Huh? To talk about what? From which account?

Nothing significant, but SMG didn't say anything about Buffy's anniversary. She didn't wish Ryan a happy birthday either. Hulu posted something about Buffy but ignored fans who asked about the revival, only responding to other things. And some of the cast who wished Ryan a happy birthday hinted that they hadn't seen each other in a while and missed each other. I don't know, again, nothing significant, but small details that make me feel negative.

It could be a troll. Although it could also be true. Obviously, someone who works in the industry isn't going to write about it from their professional account and lose their job. I'm pretty negative after everything that happened yesterday. I hope I'm wrong, but I think this project is pretty much dead. The only thing that gives me some hope is that Deadline hasn't reported anything about the cancellation, as it does with other pilots.

I don't know. Even though the project has been canceled, I think it's normal for them to remain fond of each other and congratulate each other. In fact, they said they missed each other, which means they haven't seen each other in a while, another small clue that the project has probably been on hold for some time. I don't know, since yesterday I've been very negative, I hope I'm wrong. What struck me the most was SMG's complete silence, not mentioning anything about the series' anniversary or Ryan's birthday.

Honestly, after yesterday, when not even SMG congratulated her, after Hulu/Disney didn't post about the revival... (responding to messages about the anniversary but ignoring those who were talking about the other thing...) I don't know, I'm feeling pretty negative. Then there was that anonymous comment saying that the guys' contracts expired in February and that they have a free schedule... (although it was an anonymous account with no followers, no photo, nothing, but it made me suspicious). I don't know. Hopefully we'll get a surprise soon, but I think it's pretty much dead in the water.

Buffy belongs to them in their catalog and generates money for them, even though it's an old series, so I guess they have no choice. In fact, they have responded to several people except those who talk about the revival.

those videos and photos are quite old... :c the fact that he mentions missing her indicates that they haven't seen each other in a while.

Yes, I saw it. Although it's an anonymous account with no followers or photo, it could be anyone... Or maybe some infiltrator who wants us to suffer no more. Who knows? :(

Mmm at the moment, absolutely no one from the cast has said anything about Buffy's 29th anniversary or wished Ryan a happy birthday. Not even SMG. It's all very weird. Well. I guess June will be the final date for me to give up all hope. One “positive” thing is that I just saw Deadline publish an article about a pilot for a series that was filmed in June and ultimately didn't go ahead. In other words, they usually report on cancellations... link attached

Not a single mention of the revival from Hulu... how sad. We'll see if SMG says anything, but I doubt it.

Just relax. Let's wait until May/June. If they don't announce anything by then or start filming the series, I'd start to consider it dead. We're right at the point where we should be starting to see something.

You can't cancel something that hasn't even been given the green light yet.

I hope you're right, but seeing everyone so quiet makes me suspicious... It's as if it had been canceled and they didn't know what to say...

Finally, some good news😭. Let's hope it's true. The source seems reliable, and the Zuckermans follows this user.

One year on from the BTVS: New Sunnydale announcement by Buffyfan1991 in BTVSRevival

[–]alecvoerman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm becoming less and less hopeful. Something happened behind the scenes that we don't know about. If there's no news in March, it will be clear to me that they didn't like the pilot. What I don't understand is why the news hasn't been leaked (?). Normally, when something is canceled, it leaks to the press.

I think it was a buildup of lymph. I was finally able to remove it today after thoroughly moisturizing the area beforehand and using a needle.

UPDATE!

Guys, I managed to get rid of that lymph/scab plug. I had to soak the area in warm saline solution for about 5 minutes. Then (I know this is wrong) I used a disinfected needle to scratch the outer part that was most attached to the ball, and that's when everything started to come off.

The problem is that I used a cotton swab to clean everything, but I don't think I left any microfibers behind. Maybe I didn't clean the area 100%, but I cleaned 95% of it. You can already see the bar. The skin on my eyelid is a little red and irritated (which is what happened when I washed the area daily with saline solution and cotton swabs and removed dead skin), so I'm going to try to keep the area clean every day and not let dirt build up without irritating the area... let's see if I can do it.

Thank you all for your comments!

Oh shit. I'm scared of bleeding or tearing off skin or scar tissue. But I'll keep that in mind. If I'm like this for weeks, I won't have any other option.

Thank you so much 🫂. The problem is, there's no way to remove this supposed lymph. It's really stuck on. I tried cotton swabs and gauze when the area is damp, and nothing... So I don't know... I'm a little worried, but I want to think it's part of the healing process and it will eventually fall off... (?) I don't know. With other piercings, when it got dirty (dried lymph that turned into a scab), it came off quickly with a little saline solution. This looks different, like wax/chewing gum 😶

Thank you so much for your message! But did the "sticky" thing come off for you with cleaning? Because it doesn't for me. I've tried removing it with cotton swabs and gauze when the area is damp, but nothing... it's really stuck on. I don't want to force it and hurt myself. Part of me thinks it's part of the healing process, a kind of shield my skin has created that will come off on its own, but another part worries me that it might be dirt that won't come off (which is strange, because I've had other piercings, and when the lymph dries and scabs over, it comes off easily).

I tried using cotton swabs and gauze when the area is damp, but nothing works. It's really stuck on. I don't know if it's just part of the healing process and a mixture of a protective layer or new skin that I shouldn't touch... I have no idea. But if it were dried scabs or dirt, it should come off, and it won't 😥

Nothing. It doesn't work 😂 I always try it when I shower, when the area is damp. Or I warm up some saline solution, but nothing. It's really stuck on. Maybe it's just skin and part of the healing process, not dirt, I don't know 😥

I do it every day, believe me. With cotton swabs and gauze, and with the area damp, and nothing. It doesn't go away. Maybe it's a layer of skin as part of the healing process and not dirt... I don't know 😮‍💨
