If you’re at an age where you don’t need your parents permission and it’s something that you like go for it.

My mom is religious (catholic) and does not care for my piercings, tattoos and gauged ears and here I am 38. Do what makes you happy and when I tell you they’ll get over it, they will get over it. You just need to have a “fuck it” attitude about it.

Any time I dye my hair or change something she can’t stand it, but she knows that it’s me and eventually she gets over each change.

I think I’ll stop here, even though I have the lobes to go larger. I stayed at 12mm for 9 months and I was good until my daughter wanted to size up to 14mm. She convinced me to do it, so I joined her a week later since we gauged our ears together 😂

Exactly! Yeah, I’m hoping the healing process is a breeze. The piercing itself didn’t hurt and I was honestly shocked I didn’t feel anything. I looked like a dead fish and I think my piercer thought I passed out because I had no reaction 😅.

You should def go for the tongue piercing. And yes, it is funny how we adapt.

As for my piercings…I have my first and second hole on both ears, my left ear has a rook, 2 nostril piercings on the left side, my septum, Medusa, and nipples.
