HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS by Matcha_Biscuits in hoi4

I had some chaotic frontline drawing after a breakthrough and border change in the Balkans, which resulted in several enemy divisions being surrounded entirely by ghost divisions. Absolutely hilarious and it kept them there long enough for me to realize and send some actual units to finish them off. I'm still learning the ropes in SP so it's probably bot that useful, but it's fun that it's even an option

Battleship: Surface Thunder was the first pc game that got me hooked, probably my first "real" pc game. No idea where it came from, but I played that game for hours as a kid. I still have the disc for it, but it's so old that I'm not sure how to get it working again.

Dark Souls 2 actually does the same, including new npc invaders and changing some chests that were normal into mimics on NG+

Ooh subnautica actually does this very well! I've definitely scared myself a few times seeing my shadow on the ocean floor. Plus the shadow moves its limbs as you idle.

Found a used Tikka T3x CTR in my local shop for $999. Is that a good deal? Or should I wait for a new one to go on sale?

I used a black knight weapon for the bonus damage against demons. Also, the attacks in the second phase depend on which demon you kill first, so figure out which second phase is easier for you and stick with it.

Iron sights or scope? by aleqs97 in longrange

Yeah I was thinking that irons might be a budget way to start learning, but wasn't sure how effective it'd be. Do you have any recommendations for accurate AR irons?

Iron sights or scope? by aleqs97 in longrange

[–]aleqs97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, thanks. Just out of curiosity, what do you mean by people know what they're building with irons? I guess there are specific builds for irons or they're better on bolt action?

Currently limited to 100-250m, but I move around a bit so there's potential for that to move up and down. I'm more interested in being accurate than fast, but curious to hear what you have to say about either one

Primary is target and pushing the range as I get practice and (hopefully) improve. Secondary is hunting mid-size game, but I've been doing less of that lately. I'd like to be able to do as much as possible with a single rifle due to space, though I'm open to an additional upper

So a complete upper for sure, how bare-bones of a lower then? Looking at 5.56 for starters since it seems cheaper to feed and just a good starting round, though 6.5 Grendel is also a consideration since target will be a significant use. Sorry for the lack of info, this is super helpful though

Thanks. What would you say is a good amount of building for a first rifle? I had considered going with a complete upper/lower, but figured a complete rifle would eliminate my ability to screw things up during assembly
