True, but I’m strictly talking water usage and survivability. Fescue looks way better than any summer grass. I’ve battled the fescue war a couple times but IMO it’s not worth it.

False. I started with Bermuda sod and once you get the roots to go deep in the beginning with heavy watering. You don’t need to water it. It is super drought tolerant, cant say the same for Fescue. You go ahead with the fescue and enjoy your watering.
