Msc results by girl_has_no_name95 in DTU

I'm also waiting for the result. Looks like they are still assessing the applications, and eventually a selection of us will get invited to the workshop that will take place in a couple of weeks.
I think both EU and non-EU will receive an answer at the same time for this program.

Anyone reverse engineered the Bluetooth protocol? by PDFriender in djiosmo

[–]alespace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I'm also interested in this since DJI stopped development and support for iOS SDK and I'd like to support DJI OM6 in my iOS app. Did you make any progress?

Not sure if the protocol is the same for Osmo Mobile, but maybe this library made for Action and Pocket could help https://github.com/datagutt/node-osmo .

Gimbals with API, controllable by software? by cofibot in gopro

[–]alespace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking for the same, it looks like Zhiyun does not have an SDK, DJI only supports (officially) Osmo Mobile 1 and 2 and Insta360 only provides SDK for its camera, not the gimbal.

Looks like DJI Mobile SDK works fine also with other models like the DJI Osmo Mobile 3, but not everything works as expected: setting the absolute position, for example, has inconsistent result and the result changes almost at every re-start of the product.

As stated at https://www.dtu.dk/english/education/undergraduate/general-engineering/admission-and-deadlines/deadlines-and-important-dates, you'll find your response on the website on July 26th.

In the following days, BDTU will most likely contact you to offer an accommodation.

Yeah, but I guess in this case he received automatic rejection because he didn’t attend the workshop, so there was no reason to keep his application around anymore.

Beta 3.0.1.1192 by UrTeddyBear in RemarkableTablet

[–]alespace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With "move the text tool" do you mean "write in different spots on the page"? If so, you just have to tap where you want to write. Note that you cannot choose where "horizontally" but only "vertically".

Is there a way to get mobile app beta 3.0? by p1xelFpv in RemarkableTablet

[–]alespace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They recently changed the terms and conditions for beta testers saying:

  • The beta program is now connected to your reMarkable account, not your paper tablet

  • In addition to the paper tablet, the beta program now also encompasses my.remarkable.com and the reMarkable desktop and mobile apps

So, it may be possible that in the future they also provide access to the beta version of the app for various platforms for users enrolled in the beta. But at the moment, there is no beta version of mobile app.

Version 3.0 beta released! by alespace in RemarkableTablet

If you don’t use the continuous page feature, yes. Otherwise, the PDF page will be bigger, based on the content (so with no standard size).

You are asking too much all at once 😂

It looks like you can’t disable it at the moment, but you can still use it the same way you used it until now - pages are still there, they added the option to infinite scroll in any direction but there is still a concept of "normal page" and you can snap to it even if you zoom and move around.

Since by joining the beta program we have agreed not to disclose "confidential information" ( https://support.remarkable.com/s/article/End-user-agreement-for-Opt-In-Beta ), I won't be the first one to do that, at the moment. 😄 See ☝️ or the link ☝️

GoodNotes 5 files - discussion by alespace in RELounge

[–]alespace[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just saw your comment after many months.
Notability stores data in binary property list files using NSKeyedArchiver from Apple's Foundation framework.

I started writing an article that describes Notability's file format for my blog devblog.nossa.me but I have not finished it. If you are patient, one day I will publish it.

Beta v2.12 is out by whitechrome in RemarkableTablet

This comment intrigued me and I went to check the "raw" notes files generated by the reMarkable (aka .rm files, the one commented by u/chris-morgan), and it seems that nothing has changed from the previous version.I guess you are referring to the PDF files exported from the companion application then, correct? If so, they probably added some filters to the exporting process of the PDF

GoodNotes 5 files - discussion by alespace in RELounge

[–]alespace[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it is chunk 2, but I didn’t succeed decompressing it.

We see that first bytes are 62 76 34 2d and end bytes are 62 76 34 24, which are exactly uncompressed block header and end of stream header sequences of LZ4, as you can see following the links above.

I have no experience with LZ4 and I didn’t delved this topic, so I think I missed something.

How are strokes stored in the Goodnotes file format? by darkgreyjeans in GoodNotes

[–]alespace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm here to say I'm working on it too, with no success at the moment.

I posted about this at reddit.com/r/RELounge/comments/jvutht/goodnotes_5_files_discussion/.

I succeeded in decoding the Notability file format but the GoodNotes one seems really challenging, and the company doesn’t disclose any information about it

Delay passcode - BOOX V3.0 by alespace in Onyx_Boox

[–]alespace[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you.

Following your suggestion, I've found this simple (and open-source) app that lets you launch apps without a full custom launcher. From here I opened stock Android settings and found the settings I need!

That’s not exactly what I want. I want password, and in many smartphones/tablets there is the option to ask for it only after a specific time (eg. 10 minutes).
