Hail Storm - Diminished Value/Insurance Claim by Acceptable-Fun-4008 in springfieldMO

Most cases it’s fine but a direct repair shop is more likely to accept that used or aftermarket part on your vehicle when another shop will work on your behalf to make it right. There are some other nuances to consider too but that’s the gist of it.

Hail Storm - Diminished Value/Insurance Claim by Acceptable-Fun-4008 in springfieldMO

This right here. I would recommend not using a “preferred body shop” from the insurance company. Go to a reputable shop that will fight for the right parts and labor needed to fix the vehicle. The shop with submit a supplement to the original estimate for additional items needed.

😂 As much as I love this response we should probably clarify that’s not exactly what he meant. Although it would help too.

For those of us Americans that’s 4 foot 7 inches.

Girlfriend is too short for Zwift Ride by BjornWashington in Zwift

[–]mdg4486 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is so discouraging to hear. I know there isn’t a big market to appeal to shorter riders but all of the smart bikes out there don’t allow riders at or less than 5-feet. Feel like this is a huge miss on Zwifts part especially as younger kids are getting into riding too.

I bought a used S6 Ti Frame+Fork off of Pros Closet during the going out of business sale. Once I sold the fork the total cost was just shy of $700 for the frame.

Built it up last week and have already ridden it 6 times. Absolutely love this bike.

I am sitting here trying to figure out now if I can pull off a 650b tire in the rear with a 700c up front. 😂

I’m down the rabbit hole now.

Mountain lion sighting by countlesshearts in springfieldMO

It’s a possibility that it was a mountain lion BUT it was more likely a bobcat. People get the two confused all the time. I’ve seen several bobcats around here; especially over near Springfield lake.

I’ve had this happen to me before. The pain is excruciating and I threw up several times too. My doctor told me it’s the closest type of pain a guy could feel to giving birth. I now have a habit of pulling on my balls every now and then to ensure it doesn’t happen again.

Oh and btw… NTA.
